Stefanie Powers is an American actress and singer. She is the daughter of Julianna Dimitria Golan and Morrison Bloomfield Paul.
Morrison Bloomfield Paul, her father, was supposedly a cinematographer. He was born in Montreal to an Eastern European Jewish immigrant family.
Stefanie Powers was alienated from her father, who she seldom mentions and whose name is never mentioned in her biography One from the Hart, where she mentions the “tension and unhappiness created by my father’s presence.”
She was very close to her mother, Juliana Dimitria Golan who was born on a farm outside Middletown, New York to Catholic parents of Polish origin. Her mother died of pneumonia in Los Angeles at the age of 96 in 2009.
Stefanie Powers had an older brother, Orangevale, California’s Jeffrey Julian Pau, and a half-sister, Diane Pascoe Hanson Baillie, who died in 2000. She gained recognition for her role as Jennifer Hart in the television series “Hart to Hart,” which aired from 1979 to 1984.
