Laura Frizzo Wikipedia: Where Is The Iron River Police Chief Today?

Former Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo does not have a Wikipedia page dedicated to her. In this article, you can learn about her whereabouts.

Laura Frizzo, the Iron River Police Chief, was fired after only two months on the job by the County Mayor.

While initiating such actions against the chief officer, Mayor David Thayer cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Laura was laid off in September 2016 and attempted to return to work in October, but the system refused to let her. Mayor David has enforced a severe boycott of the officer’s service after she was removed from her position.

Moreover, Laura and her respective police departments attempted to present their case to the council’s agendas but each appeal was declared invalid and thrown out.

Wikipedia, Laura Frizzo

Laura Frizzo grew up in a family of three brothers, and she was the only girl. Her uncle was murdered in the course of duty in Glendale, Wisconsin when Laura was six years old.

He was only 30 years old. This influenced her to go into law enforcement. This affected her decision to pursue a career in police enforcement. She learned to take care of herself at a young age and didn’t rely on others.

Likewise, Laura earned her Associate’s Degree in 1989 as well. In November 1994, she graduated from the Kalamazoo Police Academy and began working for the City of Iron Ricer as a patrol officer in April 1995.

An interview panel comprised of police chiefs from the largest municipalities in the UP chose her to be the Chief of Police in December of 2013.

Furthermore, she was well aware that she faced a difficult path ahead, as the mentality of some men in specific roles may have had a significant impact on her career. She was convinced, though, that she had the strength to endure.

Where is Laura Frizzo?

The mayor fired Laura Frizzo, a former Iron River police officer because she did not agree with the council’s agendas.

The police officer attempted several times to have her validated court hearing overturned, but to no avail.

A month later, enormous public protests erupted, calling for her return to her allocated position, but the council simply ignored the rails.

Laura indicated that her unusual departure was due to her preparation for preliminary interrogation in the infamous Kelly Cochran murder case on September 20, 2016.

Personal issues and exam preparation were also stated as reasons for her alleged absence from work.

The jury later ordered her to furnish them with the related excuse, which she did.

Even though she provided all of the alleged excuses, the court hearing did not go her way.

In the days that followed, Frizzo was instructed to return to work after presenting the doctor’s letter of excuse, which she was able to give to the authorities.

The court’s and council’s denials have recently prompted her to blame the mayor’s motivations and disagreements for the ridiculousness of her case hearing.

Laura Frizzo’s profile is not listed on the official Wikipedia profile page. However, she has petitioned several Gofund pages and sites for justice.

Her pending social justice and protracted case trials have prompted her to reintroduce the topic to the general public.
