American bassist and singer, John Reagan has been reported dead. He reportedly had an estimated net worth of around $1 million. Considering that he played for several bands and also produced his own music, it is understandable that he was able to rake in a good amount of wealth over the years.
He was 71 years old at the time of death. His cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Regan was best known for being a former member of Frehley’s Comet, which belonged to Ace Frehley. He was in the band from 1984 to 1990. He was also notable for being a collaborator of Peter Frampton and performed with him from 1979 to 2011.
He was also part of the band, Four by Fate where he reunited with Tod Howarth from Frehley’s Comet. They both recorded an album dubbed Relentless that was released in 2016.
“It is with the greatest sorrow and sadness that I let you all know that John passed away this afternoon. So many people have posted messages of love and condolences on his phone. I am trying to figure out how to post on any of his fb pages. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. One of his favorite quotes is, ‘All that you can take with you is that which you’ve given away.’ From reading your messages, I know he gave much away and so much love was sent to him. He passed away suddenly, but that was his wish. I had heard him over the past few weeks having lengthy conversations with many of you brought such joy to him. Thank you all for your heartfelt messages,” his wife, Cathy wrote in a Facebook post.
